CNC Precision Machining

Our experienced programmers use industry leading Mastercam software to get the job done right. Our use of multi-axis machining ensures precision and quality in every operation. We can provide customers with service on any size job, from small parts up to 80,000 lb parts. Our CNC machining centers include vertical and horizontal milling machines, as well as CNC turning, which produce the highest quality parts to meet your most stringent requirements

Manual Machining

MMR started as a manual machine shop and still employs some of the best manual machinists Chicagoland has to offer. That’s where our company differs from the competition. Jobs such as repairs or single part manufacturing might be better suited for manual machines as setups and machining can be completed faster. Whether it’s making a parts per sample, parts per print, or precision machining repairs, the customer can be assured it will be done with precision and accuracy.

Reverse Engineering

When drawings aren’t available or parts have worn or broken, our engineering staff is ready to help. Having years of experience in this area specifically, our staff will work with you to review your sample and reverse engineer to your specifications. They know what questions to ask and strive to create new parts for you in a timely and efficient manner.

Need your sample part back ASAP? Not a problem! With our 3D LASER scanning capabilities, we can scan a part to produce model with a tolerance up to .001”, and our material tester can determine the material type on the spot. This allows us the ability of returning your sample same day, or we can bring our equipment to your facility and your sample never has to leave your building.
